Young Artists Division

New This Year!

 

Age. There are two Young Artist Divisions:

Division I - Preschool - Grade 5 (No entry fee)

Division II - Grades 6-9 (See fees below)

 

Categories. Categories for entry into the Young Artist Division are: (1) painting/drawing in any medium; (2) sculpture/pottery; and (3) photography.

 

little painterImages. Division II (Grades 6-9) must submit two images in digital form. Digital images are not required for Division I entries, however an application must be submitted. You can submit a DVD with your application OR send your images by email to app2012@StStephensArtShow.org

 

Fees. The Young Artist Division II (grades 6-9) fee is $15.00 to enter the show with a two piece maximum. Young Artist Division I (Preschool - Grade 5) has no entry fee. Checks should be made payable to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.

 

Commission. There is no commission on sale of art in the Young Artist Division.

 

Size and Prep. The size limit is 48” on the longest side, framed. All art must be suitably framed and prepared for hanging with a stretched wire hanger. Sculptors must supply pedestals.

 

Deadline. Please submit your fully completed application form, your fees, and your images to St. Stephen’s no later than March 25, 2012. If your work is accepted, you will be notified on or before April 5, 2012. A list of accepted artists will also be posted on the website on April 6, 2012.

 

girl with cameraUnique Creation. The artwork must be the unique creation of the artist listed in the application.

 

Gift Shop. The gift shop is only for adult artists who have been admitted to the show. It's a great place to find unusual gifts!

 

Delivery. Please see the schedule for delivery and pickup instructions.

 

Awards. Awards include ribbons and a cash prize for first place in Division II (grades 6-9). There is more information on the show website and winners will be posted there.
